About QR codes
What file format should I download? +
PNG is best for digital use — websites, emails, presentations. SVG is best for print — it scales to any size without losing quality. For business cards or signs, always use SVG.
What does error correction level mean? +
Error correction allows a QR code to be scanned even if partially damaged or obscured. Higher levels (H=30%) add more redundancy but make the QR code denser. For most uses, Medium (15%) is ideal. Use High or Max if you plan to overlay a logo on the QR code.
Can I put a logo in the centre? +
Yes — set error correction to High or Max, generate your QR code, then overlay your logo (covering no more than 25% of the code area) in an image editor. The error correction will ensure it still scans correctly.
Are these QR codes dynamic or static? +
These are static QR codes — the data is encoded directly in the code and cannot be changed after creation. For dynamic QR codes (where you can update the destination URL later), upgrade to Pro.
